Dan Pierce is the Owner of Full Throttle Fitness and has been a fitness industry specialist for 10 years, working with hundreds of people with different goals and abilities.  After working in the professional Motocross industry for 3 years exclusively training with racing superstar and World Champion “Iron” Mike LaRocco, Dan relocated to El Dorado Hills.  Since partnering with Vance Mueller of Mueller’s Elite Training Academy in 2008, Full Throttle Fitness has now grown to a 14,000 square foot gym and athletic training facility. 

Dan’s athletic achievements included being drafted in the 1996 Major League amateur baseball draft by the St. Louis Cardinals, and being a member of the 1999 Men’s NCAA Division 2 National Championship team at California State University Chico. 
He was a collegiate All-American 8 times and a 2-time national champion in the long-jump and 4 x 100 relay. After graduating in 1986, Vance became a 4th round draft pick of the Los Angeles Raiders and had a rewarding career as a special team player and third down back. After a serious knee injury, Vance officially retired from pro-football in 1993 and began his new career in fitness, opening his first health club in 1994. Vance has since partnered in several health club ventures locally and out of state. Along the way Vance has earned several fitness training certificates including a Master Sport Trainer (MST) from the National Institute of Sports, as well as being certified in yoga, lifestyle and weight management, golf fitness, and Swiss Ball stability.

Vance’s wide ranging knowledge has allowed him to work with people and athletes from all walks of life and fitness back-rounds, ranging from first time exercisers to professional athletes. Vance’s latest facility, Mueller’s Elite, is a culmination of life experience, a life-long passion for fitness and coaching, and the appreciation of the opportunity to work intimately with people of all ages to help them achieve their personal goals.


Liz Ann has been involved in the field of Personal Training for 8 years and most recently was a trainer at El Dorado Hills Sports Club. Liz Ann prides herself on providing superior motivation, excellent individual attention and creative fitness routines which have resulted in consistent client satisfaction. Whether a beginning exerciser or an advanced athlete looking to take your fitness to the next level, Liz Ann tailors her programs to meet each client’s specific goals while creating a fun, challenging and interactive experience.
